COVID-19 Customer Notice - Dealership Closure

In light of the Government’s ruling, for the safety of Rowes employees and customers, Rowes Directors have taken the decision to close all of their dealerships from Wednesday 25th March 2020 until further notice.

It is paramount we protect our employees and customers which means that we are regrettably closing all of our branches until further notice, this includes any service work that has been booked in. We ask that you do not attempt to visit our dealerships or telephone in as there won't be any employees in the branches to respond. Emails sent via the website will also not be responded to until the dealerships re-open. We will be taking guidance from the Government to understand when safe to re-open and will communicate all updates on our website and Facebook page.

For those of you who are booked in for Aftersales care over the course of the next few weeks, when we re-open, we will be contacting you directly to address your specific requirements and rearrange existing bookings as soon as we have clear guidance on a safe return to business. (Please note that today the government have announced that all cars requiring MOT’s from the 30th March will be exempt from needing an MOT for 6 months). If your MOT does expire within the next 5 days, you will need to find alternative arrangements. Please find guidance below: 

We are in unprecedented times. We realise that many of our customers who were expecting to take delivery of their new cars in the coming days / weeks will be disappointed, and their will be frustration and inconvenience caused by our workshops closing suddenly. We had been planning to keep our two key branches service departments open however the events since the lockdown announcement have completely overwhelmed us and it is crucial we protect our employees and customers - the decision to close hasn't been taken lightly.

I would like to thank you for your continued support as we manage through these challenge times. We are entering uncharted waters, and the safety and well-being of you all must be our priority at this time. We have the most amazing staff and customers at Rowes, and the management team are extremely grateful for all the messages of support that we have received in the last few days. This is a situation that none of us have ever had to deal with before, and we will all be required to adapt to a new and very strange way of life for the foreseeable future.

We will be posting updates on our website and via our social media channels as and when they become available. In the meantime, you can still view our used cars online, and our new website does have the facility to obtain a part exchange valuation, submit a finance application, or reserve online with a £250 holding deposit, all from the safety of your home. We will process online reservations as soon as we are able to return to the dealerships, but please understand that for obvious reasons we are unable to facilitate the delivery of any new or used cars until then.
