CUSTOMER UPDATE

We hope that you and your family are all keeping well in these unprecedented times.
Following the Prime Ministers announcement on Sunday 10th May we have some important updates to share with you below. As the current situation is constantly changing, please  follow us on our website and Facebook pages where any further announcements will be made. We would also like this opportunity to thank the amazing ongoing work carried out by keyworkers.

AFTERSALES
We have now re-opened Rowes Honda Plymouth (Weston Mill), Rowes Honda Plymstock, Rowes Honda Truro, Rowes Dobwalls and Rowes Suzuki Plymouth service and parts departments. Hayle service department will be re-opeing on Monday 1st June. PLEASE NOTE: we will not be taking bookings over the phone or walk-ins, appointments will need to be made via the website, by replying to the email invites or by emailing info@rowes.co.uk. Invites will start to be sent out from the middle of next week so please keep an eye on your inbox if your MOT / Service is due.

Emergency Repairs
If your car needs any emergency repairs, we again would please ask that you don’t travel to one of our garages or telephone in but email into us at info@rowes.co.uk or send in a contact form via our website. Once received a member of the team will be in touch to book you in a scheduled appointment.

Warranties
You may be concerned that you have voided your warranty or guarantee by not getting your servicing completed at the correct interval due to the lockdown restrictions. Please be assured that if you are late getting your service completed due lockdown, as long as your car is booked in at the earliest convenience when our dealerships re-opens or once you are out of the 12 weeks of isolation, your warranty or guarantee will remain valid.


Service Plans
If you have a service plan on your vehicle, please do not worry if it is late being done, you will still be entitled to the service as long as you book in once you have been invited in for an appointment when we re-open or once you are out of a 12 week isolation period.

Are you employed by the NHS?  If you are and you do not currently have breakdown cover, the AA is giving you free breakdown membership during the lockdown period. Please contact them on 0800 072 5064 should you need their assistance.


NOTICE - We will be contacting customers who have missed a service / MOT during lockdown to invite in for a scheduled appointment, please don't telephone in. If you have any queries on an MOT, service or need an emergency repair, please email info@rowes.co.uk or complete a contact form on our website.


SALES
All Rowes showrooms will be re-open from Monday 1st June. However, although our showrooms are closed still curently closed we are open online, you can view our range of new and over 200 used cars on our website, request further information, you can also reserve for only £99 (fully refundable) and then schedule a viewing, test drive and complete the sale once we re-open. Our Group Sales Manager, Tim Chatfield is on hand to answer any questions you may have on any vehicle, please email info@rowes.co.uk and we will aim to respond within 2 hours (Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm).

BODYSHOP
Bodyshops remain closed at this time but will notify you once bodyshop starts operating again. Please email in any bodyshop enquiries to info@rowes.co.uk


PLANNING FOR A SAFE RETURN
Adjustments have been made to our processes and procedures which will be communicated via our website. Safety is paramount and we will not re-open until we feel it is safe to do so. We ask that all customers be patient with our teams as we all adjust to what is going to be a new-normal.

All of our colleagues have cleaning materials to maintain our stringent hygiene guidelines. We have perspex desk screens for all customer facing staff, separate customer waiting zones, the floor marked out to help with two metre social distancing and the directional flow system for people coming in and out of the dealership.

The technicians all use disposable gloves, seat covers, steering wheel covers and use anti-bacterial spray on all touch points, like door handles etc. We are continually monitoring the guidelines and advice provided by Public Health England, and are fully committed to making the right decisions for our customers and staff members.
